1. Dry Tea Bag: Placing a dry tea bag within your mouth just next to your aching tooth is one of the most commonly followed remedies. A dry tea bag or even an wet tea bag should be kept in the mouth for a few hours. However, the wet tea bag should be placed in the freezer and chilled before being placed inside your mouth. This is a really effective natural home remedy for tooth infections.
2. Hydrogen Peroxide: Hydrogen peroxide is a known remedy for toothache. You may use 1.5% hydrogen peroxide as a mouthwash for your teeth. This will surely clean and also disinfect your tooth and all its infected areas.
3. Salt and Baking Soda: A simple mixture of baking soda and salt is another great remedy. Just dip a small cotton piece into the mixture and apply it between the cheek and your infected tooth. 7. Salt: Bacteria are the most common cause for infected tooth. Salt kills this bacterium and so, you should rinse your mouth with lukewarm salt water. This may initially alleviate the pain a bit. But rinsing with the salt water will not only clean your teeth but also disinfect the infected regions.
8. Guava Tree Leaves: You can reduce pain by chewing herbs like guava leaves, onion and even garlic.
9. Vanilla extract: Apply a few drops of vanilla extract to your infected tooth. This will help you get relief from toothache.
