There are various treatments for lupus, like consumption of various drugs depending upon the degree of lupus, lupus natural treatment is also available, adoption of a certain lifestyle which can help in curing of mild lupus. Lupus is a chronic inflammatory disease which occurs when your body’s immune system attacks your own organs. It is important to diagnose lupus at early stage, as the treatment does not involve complication for early stage. The best way to do it is to keep on having regular check up, with your doctor or when any of the above mentioned symptoms is encountered by you, then get your self checked by a doctor. Lupus has serious complications when it affects kidneys as it may cause kidney failure and may be fatal if severe. This kind of lupus is known as lupus nephritis. Signs for kidney lupus are chest pain, weight gain, nausea vomiting, and general itching. The most current lupus nephritis treatment is that of, consumption of Corticosteroids, such as prednisone and prednisolone, are accepted for initial treatments. There is an alternative treatment for lupus nephritis but are still controversial or unproven.

There are various treatments for lupus, depending upon the signs. Common medication used for lupus treatments are; Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, Antimalarial drugs, Corticosteroids. These are drugs used for initial lupus only.  More aggressive lupus is treated with stronger drugs, like, High-dose corticosteroids, Immunosuppressive drugs.
